As a college football fan I want more games not less. Take this year for an example. I don't care if realistically Penn State didn't have a shot to win the championship I still would have loved a first round game of say Penn State at Georgia vs Penn State than Penn State ole miss in the Peach bowl where all the star players sat out. Same with the other lame bowl games these teams played in.

First Round:
#12 Liberty at #5 Florida State
#11 Penn State at #6 Georgia
#10 Ole Miss at #7 Ohio State
#9 Missouri at #8 Oregon

Then the following week we get four games instead of just three.

#8 Oregon vs #1 Michigan
#7 Ohio State vs #2 Washington
#6 Georgia vs #3 Texas
#5 Florida State vs #4 Alabama

instead of this:

#7 Ohio State vs #2 Washington
#6 Georgia vs #3 Texas
#5 Florida State vs #4 Alabama

I don't know why any college football fan would want 5 less marquee games.
