Won by 12 (69-57)
Kudos go out to the women for their winning ways.
Some had voiced their concern about the year WBB would have this season,
but it seems they aren't worried no more because they stopped bashing the WBB team and HC
and now just knock everything RU MBB on the MBB board :p
But have to admit RU MBB has not given them reason not to.:mad:

obviously the OP posted the score too late for LSU to complete the comeback...... must allow at least six minutes or so to complete the jinx
today was a good win and I will post some thoughts on the womens hoops board later but the fact is this team still hasn't beaten anyone of note..those 3 losses all blowouts against NCAA teams but we aren't talking about national title contenders. So lets see what happens once Big 10 play starts and I think 5 Big 10 schools are ranked
Didn't see where the RU WBB team was ranked in the top 25 but Seton Hall ( L, 77-49) was ranked 25 in the AP poll ( not ranked in Coaches) and St. John's (L,69-62 )was ranked 25 in Coaches ( but not in AP.
Florida State ( L, 65-43) was ranked 11 in AP and 10 in Coaches
Florida St was the last loss RU had (12/03) and 4 consecutive wins after it makes me feel good.
Don't expect everyone to feel that way.:cool:
they did some nice things that I was impressed with but I refused to be sucked in totally until I see how they do against Minnesota at home and Iowa on the road....the first is a must win. I don't expect a win at Iowa but against a ranked opponent on the road I am looking to see much more improvement than the travesties at Seton Hall and Florida State or maybe its trajedies
Don't mean to be a douche, but somebody has to do it -- they haven't been the Lady Knights for years. They are the Scarlet Knights.
Would be a problem if this thread was posted on the WBB board, but jinx might not work because this threads on the FB board and what's said on the Football board sometimes never makes it to the WBB board.
Let any team from #2 to #100 and they will deserve all the praise in the world.
Connecticut is the gold standard in College WBB basketball , like Wooden's UCLA team was in College MBB years ago.
Hopefully RU will play and beat UConn when the Dancing starts. Don't think RU plays them in the regular season, so for now it's a moot point.
It's very good to see the results improving, but the real tests of how much better we actually are playing come in B1G play. At least there is reason to suggest the team is coming together.
