It is because their schedule is very weak compared to other top 25 teams. The BIG is not a good league and we played no one OOC. For comparison take a look at the Maryland OOC.

Big picture, AD Pat Hobbs said when he was interviewing Steve Owens that he told Steve to be patient with facilities improvement. That was fine then.
But now with HC Owens fast tracking this program beyond anyone’s expectations, Steve has moved up the timeline to invest in this coaching staff and our on campus stadium.
Pat - please strike when the iron is hot, before someone else rewards Coach Owens and his staff.
