Fordham game .....Any word on which network will be televising the game?
I get an email from msg and they run a promo. Just got promo yesterday for Seton Hall/ South Carolina game for 50% off. . I would wait a few days. Also stubhub might have cheaper options and you can still be on the court or close. . If I get an email from Msg about our game will reply again here in this thread. What is the best way to get tickets for this one?
I see ticketmaster as really the only one selling with limited seats left for $65 or $80 + $15 service charge for each ticket. Highway robbery.
Any other options out there to buy tickets in advance? (I'm aware of scalping as an option)
Totally baffling. Even ESPN3 would work.why cant we even get msg2 coverage for this
You can watch the RU-FDU game but you're too cheap.Back in the day, when two Metro area teams played vs each other it was picked up on local tv.
MSG, Sportchannel, Ch.9 and even as of a few seasons ago on YES or SNY.
It's extremely frustrating that games like RU vs FDU and RU vs Fordham will not be on tv but I'm sure I'll be able to see North Dakota St vs Weber St somewhere on my cable dial those nights.

Same here.I posted a Thread on this a few weeks ago when they were selling seats via Tixmaster for 50% using the code CYBER. MAYBE it still works....I got my 2 for $70 all in ..end court but will move to better seats.

That's a great price. Right now you can't even get 1 ticket for $70 all in
You're a financial advisor and know me personally?
Why should fans have to pay extra to watch a game on a laptop or desktop, we pay enough for cable tv, put the darn game on YES Network, MSG+2 or another local Metro area station.
did you try it 08? or do a Google search for Ticketmaster Discount Code?
you can also apply any of those Ticketmaster Voucher Codes for $2.25 per tix if you have any from this past summers settlement program.

hang on a sec...aren't our games now more readily available than they've ever been?
am i in the twilight zone or will people literally complain about anything.
That's what this guy fails to grasp.. A few years ago it would have been unheard of to be able to watch these non-conference games against low majors. Your options were basically go in person, listen on the radio or follow the score updates online.
Now because of BTN Plus, for $9.95 you could have gotten the North Texas, Morgan State and FDU games live and living color. Yeah, it would be nice if it was free but if you're a big RU basketball fan and can't get to all the games, that's an absolute steal.
Well worth it to me and this is coming from someone who is pretty careful with money.
nice find 88Checkout Seat Geek. Make sure to search for Penn St vs St Johns. I just got 4 for $49 a piece all fees included in sec 104, not the best seats but better then end of court, kind of looking down the corner of the court.

The first game (Penn St.-St. John's) is on FS1. Unfortunately, RU-Fordham is not televised at all. Not even an online stream, which is pretty inconceivable these days.Agreed. Ten bucks isn't unreasonable. Also, the Fordham game is listed as TBA for television on SK.com - do we know, for sure, that MSG isn't televising its own tourney?
Thanks Silvers . Just bought 6 tickets in Section 112 for $271 all in , average $45. On first tier and can move after Penn State / St. John's game . Thanks againCheckout Seat Geek. Granted it's been a while since I've been to MSG (and I don't miss it!) but their security guys used to be the biggest seat Nazis of all time--even with a 3/4 empty arena. I tried to change seats during the game on several occasions and was rebuked.
With fordham and RU fans we may be 9/10 empty. Do not think it will be much of a problem moving seats.
I tried moving my seats at the BET in a nearly empty arena ---got shot down. More than once.
maybe things have changed
It is quite amazing if you think about it, that a Big Ten team that could very well be 10-1 will be playing at Madison Square Garden, at there won't be a video broadcast of it.
I'm a little more positive. I'll say there will be about 800 RU fans, which is still awful. The same can be said about us not having more than 250 fans there. Literally 26 miles from campus.
That is because FS1 has the Big East contract. The first game (Penn St.-St. John's) is on FS1. Unfortunately, RU-Fordham is not televised at all. Not even an online stream, which is pretty inconceivable these days.
