Franklin's protection package for Hack for the Taxslayer bowl?

phony, huh?.....i uhh, think Flood had all you guys fooled, no?

Ha, seriously, hope Hack holds up. Poor guy has had a rough year.not bad, not bad....only golf clap worthy

Flood wasn't phony; he was incompetent.
Your guy is both.

What are prospects for major OL improvement next year?
As a Penn State fan I can totally see why Franklin would be annoying to other fan bases. If he doesn't win he's shtick will get annoying with our own fans. Penn State fans are fairly blue collar and Franklin's personality doesn't exactly gel with that. I think people overlook it if his way works, but he'll have a much shorter leash than someone like Bill O'Brien who, except for a few lunatic fringe fans, was actually very well liked.
.
and what kills us is how many times you say you are never coming back to this board and yet here you are.Lol. You guys kill me.
eeehhh, i mean...we got essentially the same players coming back. not sure where the improvement will come from...unless if Redshirt/True Freshmen will all of a sudden be physically mature to handle Big Ten D-Linemen.
PALY: I blame the marketing department more for the whole "led-by-a-man-of-honor" thing, but honestly what could they have said? "Led-by-a-man-who-taught-HS-math"?
I would expect Penn State's O-line to improve. I watched a horrible Pitt O-line become a very respectable one. If they don't improve? Then the Nit's better start looking for a new coach. I think the fan base is too wrapped up in his recruiting. He needs to show it on the field.
Golden, Schiano and Flood are available now if you are willing to make a change. . . .well, if you're comparing to Pitt....they excelled in OL recruiting under P Chryst....and yes, they continue to look good there with their OL play (though, OL recruiting is in peril lately under Nardog).
PSU's OL situation is the juxtaposition of what I just described with Pitt.....I'm pretty sure Nardog & Chryst would've been pullin their hairs with our OL as well.
that being said....no PSU fan would disagree JF will have to start showing it on the field, generally speaking......but yeah, the recruits are coming in, no doubt. He'll have to 2017....longer leash due to the sanctions.........If he sh*ts the bed and is canned, the next guy will have a loaded roster....a la Hoke to Harbaugh transition.
I LOL'D!!!Franklin's protection package for Hack for the Taxslayer bowl?

Is McSorley your QB for next year? I forgot which game I watched (maybe MSU), but he looked better than Hack.
Here's a funny Hack highlight:

The Penn State OL is made up of highly rated recruits. I get that some were DL...but really a kid coming out of high school is just an athlete. DL usually make good OL recruits anyway. In addition, Pitt's recruiting is going fine. I have full confidence Narduzzi knows what he is doing.well, if you're comparing to Pitt....they excelled in OL recruiting under P Chryst....and yes, they continue to look good there with their OL play (though, OL recruiting is in peril lately under Nardog).

wwwwwell, i was going with the whole preaching integrity, yet covertly meeting up with professors in effort to encourage (strong arm...whatever) grade changes....that whole thing.....no biggie
that being said, i'm trying to keep it light-hearted...the whole holiday spirit thing and all.

Glad you mentioned holiday spirit, otherwise some Nit history might be mentioned.
Wouldn't want that part of Penn St history dominating the PSU-RU trash talk again.
Narduzzi, isn't going anywhere. Pitt is as close to home as it gets for him. I think MSU is really the only job he would consider. Our new Chancellor is committed to excellence in everything. We just hired one of the best men's Soccer coaches in the country. I'm sure if Narduzzi were to leave he would find a great replacement. The wheel has truly turned at Pitt with regard to athletics. It will take some time but there now is a commitment being made. Something that has been lacking for 35 years.
oh...was i talking trash?....i thought i was responding to the whole...who's more of a phony....Franklin or Flood.
you wanna bring up Sandusky....have at it.....though, not sure how it relates to the thread.
Jesus get this clown off my TV screen!!! I have never heard someone talk that literally makes me see red!! Can't wait till ASH kicks his ass on the recruiting trail.
I don't believe I said I was never coming back. And why are you even bothered by that? It's not like I come on here and hurl insults at anyone. You don't really have to respond to me if it affects you so badly, ya know. But by all means, please tell me how many comments I have on this board since you seem to be keeping count.and what kills us is how many times you say you are never coming back to this board and yet here you are.
Not Sandusky alone , but the integrity of all involved in that mess made Flood's actions seem like something minor where the Nit's actions are concerned .
Penn St's integrity come into question from the [President to the HC over the way Coach Emeritus was allowed to continue what he was doing after being caught.
Then you have Penis Head's involvement with a rape case before he was hired by P*d state, seems like that might be part of the integrity picture you bring up.
Or the lack of it when putting wining football over acting with integrity.
Also hiring ad AD a person who oversaw the football program's graduation rate ranked last in the country among major conference teams.
Shows Flood's actions would be acceptable at a school that hires an AD like that.
Not bothered by the comment just the fact it never holds true. My biggest issue is you only or uprise here it to defend PSU and Franklin. Unless like some other PSU posters you bring nothing of substance to the table. All you do Is talk up Franklin and tell us your kids goes there and plays sports. You did hear that he was here looking for a job right?
Not true...the writer felt he and Mullen should have been approached. You did hear that he was here looking for a job right?
Not true...the writer felt he and Mullen should have been approached.
He wasn't approached by Rutgers. It was the other way around. Not true...the writer felt he and Mullen should have been approached.
And Rutgers turned him down. Then turned around and hired a guy with a lesser reputation and no head coaching experience?
Dan Mullen would have been a slam dunk and we would have been silly to pass on him. we simply don't have that kind of coin. And Dan Mullen?
