Free throw disparity.. 42 to 17.. this is ridiculous.

Points in the paint.. 42 to 36.. that is, they say take the ball to the hoop and you will get foul calls.. not if you are Rutgers though.

6 blocks for them, 1 for us.. and yet we were called for 29 fouls to their 19

This abuse by some of the refs made all the difference in this game.

Yes, we took more 3s.. 11 more 6-26 to their 2-15.. but we took more shots.. 68 to 56.. so that 3-disparity does not explain A&M taking 3 times the number of FTs.

so did they.. they just weren't called nearly as often. Repeatedly Ace and others drew contact, no call.

Rutgers took 35 foul shots against Alabama and still loss the game.The wide disparity in this game was the opponent zone defense that prevented Harper from dribble driving to the basket for easy layups or foul shots.

This could happen any given day given our defensive personnel this year but defensive style remaining the same. Lot of undersized or slow guys out there. If Dylan is on he will get to the rim (bama) if not, we I’ll probably always lag in the FT column this year.
