Ogbole

It would be great to have a rim protector but there are very few of them in college. In theory, Bama has one in Cliff and yet he had almost no impact. Dylan scored at the rim all night and Bama is a top 10 team.

The guy he was boxing out mauled him. I don’t really understand why all that pushing on foul shots is tolerated but it’s been that way for 20 years, maybe more.
And the refs tend to let the pushing get even worse late in games on free throws.

Just finished watching, EO played solidly again today, foul trouble aside. Rebounded well, and had real active hands again, poking a few balls loose. Also, after starting the year 3-9 from the foul line, he's now made 9 of his last 11. Progress, all we can hope for.

He is making progress. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I would say this 8 games in but Ogbole is the least of our roster problems. Three transfers have given us little to nothing, Martini, Hayes and Acuff. This has helped kill our 3 point shooting and is becoming a bigger issue with each passing game. Ogbole was a pleasant surprise out in Vegas. Martini, Hayes, and Acuff (he did show up for ND game), uhhh, not so much of pleasant surprises. These guys have to give us more otherwise this season is going to be disappointing. Martini seems lost and I thought that was what would be said about Ogbole all season. Big E is at least contributing but the transfers are giving us nothing.
