He's been coming on.

Add in Corey's improvements (Driving to L, Hitting mid range j's, hitting 3's / Increase FT %)....

Now who are we adding on the recruit side.

Nice way to semi-end the season.

Beat Nebraska!

Maryland left Freeman open at the top of the key all game, wish he would've just took a shot.

I agree with the OP and this is what I've been saying for a while. I got in a disagreement on this board with someone who complained that Freeman attempted a three near the end of a close game a few games ago. (You know who you are.) I said that I guaranteed that the coach had no problem with that shot attempt in that situation; the coach has now confirmed that he has encouraged Freeman to shoot more when left open from the stripe. Freeman has a smooth and consistent stroke from there. His 6 for 14 on the year included three that went three quarters of the way down and rimmed out, so it could easily have been 9 for 14. Expect to see him take 40 or 50 attempts from three next year. Also expect to see him take advantage of the defender trying to close out by pump faking and getting into the lane as a result of their having to guard the three.

There is a time to shoot it and a time not to. Nigel needs to kearn

Seems like he kinda vanished this game.

Wish Dadika would also take a shot once in a while: if he makes it...great, if not he keeps the D honest.

Sa needs to develop some kind of offense. Thiam played over 30 mins., with 0 points and 3 rebounds. Thiam needs to beef up, develp a shot, confidence / then nail it.

Sa needs to recover his form –- even his release at the free-throw line got more and more odd as the year went on - – he has potential to improve quite a bit next year. Thiam's issue is no secret – – the low release point coupled with the fact it takes him a while to get rid of the ball makes him far less open than it appears -- many of us cautioned to have limited first year expectations for this very reason. I think that this issue is why a 6'9" player who hit threes in high school and can move and defend did not have as many offers as we might have otherwise expected. Expect to see a lot of work on his form and his release in the off-season. Dadika is pretty small so again he just needs a lot of room to really be open.
