It’s not lack of effort, it’s lack of speed, quickness, and athleticism. There is a gaping hole in how this team is constructed because we don’t have guards (especially a PG) who can beat their man off the dribble, penetrate and then dish. You cannot lose a guard like JY, not replace him and expect to be as good or even remotely as good as you were last year. We will be even more exposed when we run the gauntlet of top tier conference teams in Feb.
