GAME THREAD: RU vs Children of the Corn

Honestly, Corey is the guy keeping us afloat right now. Without him, we struggle baaaaddd. I’ve been growing a little more frustrated with Geo lately than earlier in the season though. Anytime, he rises up straight, I’m okay with. It usually looks good. But sometimes he’s fading sideways, midrange, and I’m like that was a horrible shot before it even left his hands. He needs to be more of the facilitator that we thought he would be and focus on getting us some assists.

Went to a high school game tonight. Both teams rained 3's..
We just cannot friggin shoot. We cant seem to get QB's who can throw. These are problems that just never seem to get addressed in this place called Rutgers.

I can handle our football and basketball teams being bad but the thing that kills me is that they're both bad in the most infuriating and least entertaining way. How do you have a football team without a guy who can throw the ball? How do you have a basketball team without guys who can shoot it? And yet somehow we have both.

Pretty much this. The way those two teams have been, I would take having an offense who can put up points with the best of them even if we were bad on defense.

Every game for me is just praying that a team isn’t clicking on offense because you know if they are, we basically have no shot to win.

Just got back from game. I knew when Sa was at the line he would miss. Like people write, need shooters. Better shooters, everyone knew Sa would miss. Not trying to blame him but we need to get shooters.

Need to recruit a legit scorer. All of the other pieces are there to compete. But they don’t have a go to scorer.

At Rutgers its easy identifying what is wrong but darn near impossible to solve based on past history.
