Tough league to play in but this is on us today. We ate beating ourselves with turn overs and poor defense.

Had about 13 negative posts on Mathis missing a wide open three after young got Myles the ball in the post and Myles made a great pass and Mathis bricked hard.

3 posts on Paul hogging the ball, trying to beat a man he can’t beat 1 on 1, turning it over for a transition 3.

Some this board up pretty much.

Two horrible plays from our guys. Gotta ride young and Geo at this point

Tez misses by 50 feet, and they bury with ease

This has been the weakness in Pikiell's recruiting. No one that can consistently shoot and play at this level. Most other B1G teams have 2 to 3 in that category. Pikiell has recruiting those that can play D, but when the D is not showing up, this is not even an A-10 team because they can't score.

We've been playing like dog crap since the Iowa game. Sure we got the win against Northwestern but they are not a good team at all. Probably the worst in the B1G with even Nebraska showing some improvement.

Need to step it up against Indiana and Nebraska or hope they throw in a likely dud of a game.

Why does everyone assume RHJ is in a shooting slump. You take his 1st 4 games where he shot very solid from.3pt land
Since he's 5 for 49 including today....somewhere in those 50 shots you have to get lucky and hit a few more. Maybe he just shot over his head the 1st 4 games. Dont thinknhes hit 20 pts since game 4

Let's see if the reporters press Pikiell at the press conference on an experienced team regressing as the season moves on. Pikiell hasn't had to deal with those tough questions before. Would be a different story if this game was competitive. But its not.

Why do JY and Mathis have to always come in together? I'd rather only have one of those guys on the floor at the same time, as the other guards are bigger and we don't have as much of a height disadvantage and JY/MM aren't particularly complementary with each other, but are moreso with the other guards, IMO.

pike seeks to only play Mathis mostly with Paul young or Paul McConnel
