Davis is a very good defensive player.Rutgers played a very good first half getting contributions from many players.Three point baskets are the reason Rutgers is ahead by 8 points at half time.

I also haven't really seen any alleyoop attempts like we used to have when Baker was tossing them up to Cliff. Miss those.

Pike kept GG in for about 8 minutes from about the 16:00 to the 8:00 mark. One of the few times he tried to ride the hot hand and not remove a player who is hitting shots.

if Mag didnt get injured they were probably an 8 or 9 seed

I think he’s charged up knowing Mag is on the court with him, especially down low to help on the boards.

No Pikes a good coach who ripped everyone a new one and demanded everyones 150% effort if they didn’t want to ride the bench.

He also obviously got Gavin to think less and shoot more.

Outside of key injuries Pikes always been able to adjust. Takes a bit long sometimes, but he figures it out.
