Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers vs. Temple

Greg, game time is too late to rip Gleason’s ass. That should have taken place every week for the past 2 years.

How is Gary Nova the last QB we had that could actually throw the ball.

how ****ing hard is it to recruit someone who can throw the ball

Noah can throw. He’s not a rock star, but he’s servicable. He’s going to be the QB when he’s healthy and nobody should complain. But we have to get through this game.

I guess I just don’t give a crap how the team wins, I just care that they win.

Again, GS’s teams have NEVER won pretty. Why would you expect a high powered offense when that’s never been his MO?

It’s about grit and defense.
All I care about is winning also, but it's possible to be tough and gritty on defense and dynamic and creative on offense.

Scary when 3 of the 5 guys I’m sitting with call the first play out of half pre snap. If offense is predictable to casual fans then what is it to paid professionals?

They never beat anyone of consequence and they never will if that's his game philosophy. It's why he didn't beat WVU in 11 tries. Do you think eking out every point will ever beat Penn State/Michigan State let alone OSU or UM? Name me a team that wins at a high level with that kind of game plan. Why would you adopt a game philosophy that dooms you to mediocrity?

Maybe because we spent the money on an offensive coordinator who was supposed to install that type of offense? And Greg said he'd let Gleeson do what he wanted on offense? Fool me once, shame on you...

How has this program, under multiple coaching staffs, over the last decade not developed a competent QB. Is so crazy.

Sadly with the way our Offense started it doesn't look like Coach Schiano gathered the team in the locker room and peeled the paint off the wall!

I hope he does it on the sideline. This looks like a classic team looking ahead, losing to a team they should beat scenario!
