Gary to Michigan

I don't understand why these top kids keep going to other programs. I mean if your a HS kid and you decide to go to an Alabama, Ohio State, or Michigan, those programs have all already won national championships. At Rutgers, You have the opportunity to be a builder of a program that could be much larger deal down the road.
I get that kids want to play for a NC but if we were able to keep many of the top players at RU we could be one of those teams. I know we are never going to keep a 100% of the top kids but say if we could keep 40% of the top 50 year in and year out, Rutgers could be in the top 20 teams every year. Lets hope HCCA and the position coaches can make the case next year to keep these kids at RU.

If you're not a big name coach its hard for a new coach to come in and kill it recruiting-wise in a short time frame. CA and crew need to make inroads for the 2017 and 2018 classes. Having a potential stud QB prospect is a HUGE first step in attracting skill players down the road.

We play by the rules and so does Mich but we don't find ways to pay them or others that rep them for housing, jobs etc they wouldn't otherwise be qualified for,,,....it goes on...just not here...or at least in an obvious way.

Yeah, let's accuse Michigan of paying recruits. It has nothing to do with Rutgers being a tire-fire.

because the already have offers out to 12 recruits in the state of michigan for 2017. they already have 2 commits from michigan in 2017. today he was already on the phone with 2017 recuits from michigan
Can we assume Harbaugh and staff let the magnificent first 14 know that their verbal commitment could be meaningless down-the-road?

Are you actually reading....or putting words in my mouth...we play by the rules and ''so does MICH''....IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOUR PARANOID MIND. Some of these new posters are unreal....2 posts and calls us a tirefire...he's either a UConn or Cuse fan....Mich fans can't be that stupid/envious of where were going enough to come here and spout crap..

We have to stop worrying about how many N.J. kids we get and find the best players out there in B1G country and beyond. $$$$

He came to NJ and ate Ash's lunch. I don't think it'll be the first time either
Actually it was the first time. Might not be the LAST TIME though. Chris Ash was here for all but one month and he is going to compete with Jim Harbaugh for recruits? Give him time,he will get this program going in the right direction. As a Rutgers fan that's all we can hope for now.
Win the games you can ,and play respectable against the big boys. Repeat the process until you can recruit with the big boys .
NJ recruits is one reason (along with millions of tv sets) that we were even invited to the BIG. Fans are going to complain now when another BIG school eats our lunch in recruiting?

Don't understand the hate, he made a decision that is,right for him. Good Luck RG, I hope you have a great college career.

The tax payers of new jersey pay to educate and coach them and then they go make money and prestige for a school in another state where the people will do little but bad mouth their home state, and by extension them and their friends and family.
