Ryan Carty from unh would be a great hire for what Ash wants to do on offense. Runs a great multiple offense at unh that has a lot of spread dynamics but also sprinkles in some pro sets. His father coached at my high school (Somerville) and is very respected in the high school football scene in NJ. This is a no brainier to me. A very capable coach with New Jersey ties that could help ash recruit the state. Thoughts?

I would think he would be on the radar, but have no idea what direction Ash will go.

New Hampshire was the #72 offense in FCS last year at 358.8 yards/game...so maybe he isn't that good at his job? No idea..just speculating.

true but I was more thinking as a position coach. He runs the offense that ash wants to run and would be a great asset for ash on the recruiting trail. He played QB at Somerville and Delaware so maybe we could bring him in as qb coach.

Pass. Maybe bring him on in some capacity but his O this year was very impotent averaging only 23.9 PPG which was ranked 73 in D1AA scoring O & 72 in total O.

I would've gone after BG's Sean Lewis but he was just announced as Fruit U's OC as he followed Babers. We aren't getting Doug Meacham, Kendall Briles or Lincoln Riley, but we need the next one of them. If we're looking for up & coming, I'd look at JMU co-OC's Brett Elliott, as he coached under Mullen at MSU in a similar O & called JMU's plays this year, or Zak Kuhr, who coached at tOSU under Meyer & installed that O @ JMU, & Drew Mehringer @ Houston who previously ran Meyer's O @ JMU & was a grad asst @ tOSU.

I have watched UNH many times and we definitely do not have the QB for that offense. I know it is a variation of a spread option but is not like the OSU spread option in that it is a lot more about running QB and less verticle
