I didn't really think twice about the pass , it seemed routine. But from this angle it was threading a needle. Also, Caleb helped with a little pick:

great thing is they took us out of our initial read which was a lob to cliff out of the pistol action. Rather than force that pass like we’ve seen in the past from some posters, paul calmly backed his man down and found another option for the game winner.
One thing you can see in that clip, as well, is that the guy guarding Paul doesn't have a chance of stopping him. -Paul is clearly bigger and stronger, and there's no way the Purdue guy was going to body Mulcahy out of getting to the spot where he felt comfortable making that critical pass.
Thought Cam’s initial shot fake was the key to getting a less contested good look. Well done!
