Geeeezzzuzzzfucginchrist......

NJ.com reports on everything that is deemed relevant by this board. If this event wasn't relevant, there wouldn't have been 2 threads started on this in the past week.

You are making the case for NJ.com publishing an article on this by just starting a thread on this. So don't whine that it's not relevant because to many of our fans, it seems to be.

Someone called Dunleavy out in Twitter for reporting the accident to begin with. His reply was that Schiano would dalways be a former Rutgers coach much like an alumni will always be an alumni.

Dunleavy has been fully indoctrinated into the SL

Can a super rich RU alum buy the SL and burn it to the ground already?

I see this differently

I don't have an issue with that rag reporting on things that people in the state will click on. As long as they do it fairly and in an unbiased manner.

My panties get in a bunch when they slant articles and mislead people.

Dunleavy does not do that at all.

Rutgers is about to play Ohio State. Their defensive coordinator is Greg Schiano, remember him, the guy who built R house on a strong foundation. Reporters look in many areas and at many angles for stories. The timing on Greg's traffic accident and ticket on the week his defense is lined up against his old team and some of his old recruits is ironic, but I hold nothing against Dunleavy or NJ.com for running with the story. So far, the APP/Pelzmann/Carino/Edelson have been silent on this, and as much as I dislike Edelson's stories, they generally run with more football related stories, and less with peripheral nonsense.

So I guess he reports on the comings and goings of all alumni?

Greg Schiano in traffic court in Ohio has no relevance to Rutgers Football. He is supposed to be covering Rutgers Football. If Greg Schiano's old house in Piscataway get termites... is that Rutgers football news?

Focus on what Schiano's D is doing at Ohio State this year and in our game when we play Ohio State.. that is something the sports section should cover.

OMG. Nothing wrong with NJ.com writing about it. same reason nothing wrong with it being a topic here, without an OT, btw.

Waiting on a Star Ledger update on Kyle Flood the ex RU FB HC and long time assistant along with letting Jersey residents know what ex RU MBB HC Eddie Jordan is doing.
I'm sure the SL knows besides being an ex HC at RU fast Eddie was one of Rutgers greatest basketball players and Jersey residents might like the SL to consider him newsworthy.
I'm sure Dunleavy will gladly put out an article about Mike Rice if he stubs his toe and find some kind of excuse for doing so.

Hopefully , if the Star Liar tries to interview Schiano, Greg brings up their biased coverage meant to harm Rutgers Stadium expansion and other negative spins like the Nelligan clause in his contract, when he response to questions asked by a SL employee.
