Gut reaction: Do we win tonight with Omoruyi?

NFW...

Were you there? This team is regressing in fundamentals. Nobody can make easy entry or swing passes; never mind run transition if a lay-up were to bounce to us. Beginning to become concerned that we might have another football situation that will need to be addressed. Trying to be patient, but...I won't waste time at any games for a few weeks.

I know the level of competition has increased but man - the team was slinging the ball around at the beginning of the season. Not the case now.

Yes---but... Our FT shooting is the worst in the league. Tonight was no different as we shot just 60% from the charity stripe while Northwestern shot 82%. Also, we have no one right now on the team who can knock down a three when it matters. Pike needs to scour the country and find a grad transfer like Ryan Taylor who can catch and shoot.

My gut instinct says “no”, we would not win this game tonight with Eugene but if Eugene minutes were all Thiam’s, I think we would have.

Typical Rutgers replies. Until I see a sustained difference of results with and without..no. Just a different loss.
The question should be do we win if Geo Baker plays to his hype.
The answer to positive results is BOTH players being productive and consistent.
We stand zero chance with the current status of play of geo with or without eo.

if Rutgers sports results were related to fan support, we'd have won 5-6 National Championships in Football and Basketball over the past 25 years. Unless you mean more demanding fans and fans who force Rutgers leadership into investing the $$ into proven coaches who have a track record of accomplishment at this level (and I still like Pike)

How do average Joe fans (the ones not writing big checks) do this? Pray tell.

I get your point. However, I do think the projected mass reduction in Football Season tix and what they were hearing back from "fans" forced some re-thinking and put some pressure on Hobbs for that program to "crap or get off the pot" sooner vs. later.

You need to get out more. Fan support at RU is right on par with fan support.

We would have won by 15. A few more buckets inside would have opened the flood gates for RU.

You might want to stay in more. No idea Wtf that even means.
Maybe I misunderstood your post. It made it sound like RU has top 25 fan support in the country. My response is saying you should go check out how other schools fan support. We are more like bottom 25.

Lol..sorry. Ah no , we don't. We have a very loyal core group...after that...ha.

If we ever got our crap together I truly believe this state would explode with support. We've been forever cursed with the N.Y. / Philly bi-polar split. One of the worst shames is the historic city of Trenton to never unite or achieve its potential.

Until then..(per Bruce) Baby we were born to run......
