And I have to listen about the virtues of the pseudo Schiano's: Golden, Fleck, and Cristobal.

Then he must be lonely. We should all tweet him and wish him well. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Believe me there is a reason he's a YSU. He's an a$$ and a manipulator who can't coach. He inherited all of Bill Callahans talent in 2008-2009-2010 and those were his best years. He can't recruit and doesn't like to recruit. He somehow won 9 games from 2011-2014 off pure luck. He had a former GA become the DC for crying out loud. He pretty much had someone monitoring Nebraska message boards so people wouldn't say bad things about him.

Trust me, I know Nebraska struggled this year, (mostly because we had no depth and no talent at DE) but in no way I would ever take Pelini back ever again. He's a toxic/egotistical/paranoid person who has some serious anger issues.

So he got lucky for years, and then lucky again they fired him before he had a bad year? This is the most ridiculous opinion I read on this board in a while - impressive.

Now it's probably true that he is toxic and we should pasd, but the guy can win.

The guy can win by beating the following opponents.

Western Michigan, San Jose State, New Mexico State, Florida Atlantic (twice), Louisiana Layfette, Arkansas State (twice), Western Kentucky, Idaho, South Dakota State (twice) Washington coming off Wellingham, Chattanooga, Fresno state (twice) Wyoming (twice) Idaho State, Southern Miss (twice)

Iowa State, Kansas, Colorado, KSU (Before Snyder had them back in 2011), Baylor (Before RG3). He beat cream puffs and got blown out against a lot of ranked opponents.

Thanks for leaving 2014 Rutgers off the list [laughing]

I am surrounded by Nebraska fans where I live and I can vouch for this. Very few of them were sad that Pelini left, even though they were rightfully skeptical of Mike Riley.

Yes it's true, one he was fired the fans base was split about 60 for yay, 40 for nay. Than once the second audiotape came out and everyone finally realized he was a POS, the split became 80 for yay and 20 for nay and it's still probably like that.

I just wanted change, I like Riley and think he can do well here, he just needs his guys and most importantly a QB who doesn't have his own agenda. If Riley fails in a few years, so be it. But Pelini had to go.

Bo is not the answer. In addition to the fact he made a fool of himself and embarrassed the school, I watched him be totally out coached in big games, particularly vs Wisconsin.

It takes as special kind of detached coach to tell the fans and admin to go F themselves. That's what that guy did, embarrassing the school along the way.

We already had one anger filled coach who heaped bad press upon us. We don't need another.

I think it all comes down to this. Add to that that Pelini just isn't a good enough head coach to look past any of that.

So, there's no chance you'll change your mind, I guess. Lol.
Pellini crossed lines you just don't cross. Once you do, you're out and there is no coming back unless you rehab and sit in therapy for a couple of years and can explain the personality issues that led to the behavior and how you have conquered them. He doesn't even realize he has issues. Frankly, he's lucky to be where he is and anyone who thinks Rutgers should hire him should really leave the coach discussion to others, you don't get it.

For those who thought thought Flood lacked passion, maybe a guy who is so passionate fluid comes out of his body is your cup of tea.

Embarrassing representative for a school.

No wonder schools aren't even thinking of him. I think he took too many hits to the head at OSU.

I should ask the ref what he thinks next time I see him......one of our own there
