I live in Philadelphia in the Northeast section of the city near the Linden avenue boat launch. I am interested in buying a Kayak and would like to know if anybody can give me some answers to where to launch on the Ranny. I would think a non tidal part of the creek would be good. Also I am an angler so I am wondering what species of fish are prevalent in the creek. How about large mouth bass? Thanks in advance.

I saw this thread and immediately thought this was gonna be about how all the MLB balls get their rubbing mud from the banks of the Rancocas. True story.

Most people put in their canoes or kayaks at Smithville Park or in Lumberton. Just google Rancocas Creek Canoe Trail and you will find a ton of information. Happy paddling!
