Way back I got to roll a tire with someone. Whoever landed the tire closest to the block R at center Court on a $100 gift certificate to STS. I won and then afterwards the woman in charge said you mind if I give the other guy a $100 certificate and I said sure.

Is there anyway to get a video of the half time performance?

It was suggested to me last night that the reason no video of the dance routine is available is that they are performing it at nationals this year & don't want any competitors to see it in advance.

... therefore did not advance to the Finals.

I mean finishing 11th overall is good, of course .. but I am sure a disappointment for the team. Had they been able to repeat their score from the Prelims, they would have finished 6th, and headed to the Finals (top 8 advance).

I am not going to apologize - I said I was NOT criticizing ... I just couldn't see any RU teams on the link of the schedule you provided.

To be fair to any of us not experts, there are so many danged categories, and there is Division 1 and Division 1A, and Pom and Jazz and Mascot and Open Mascot and ... and ... and ... I cannot figure any of it out. The link I found really does not help clarify, I know. Your initial link, the link I found and now subsequent links confuse me even more.

I'll just wait until it is over, and someone will no doubt post what each RU participating team did (i.e. final rankings in each category in which they participated).

RU dance team made finals for Jazz. They’re going into finals in 5th. They finished 0.2 from 4th and 0.4 from 3rd. Clean slate tomorrow and anything can happen really. Love to hear that Penn state is going into finals in 10th and hopefully stay there lol

They have only won one national championship.

How about World Championship also? 2018 their poms routine they got selected to be team USA and then won the gold medal out of 70 countries as team USA. This doesnt deserve a banner in the RAC but the Volleyball NCAA first round appearance from 1985 does?

I think it's good for football. But to do it twice at a sold out RAC? However, the flip side could be that LG gives them the TV for free in exchange for the advertising.

Or maybe LG contributes as well as giving us the TV to give away.. as a condition of the donation?

That's how it works in the real world. Would be interesting if the value to Rutgers is much much more than the TV they give away. Maybe every time you see a TV given away you should think "Cha-ching! Money in the coffers!"

Maybe some smart Rutgers marketing person should talk LG into donating their $1000 32-inch OLED monitors... that would be something gamer students would kill each other over.. if they knew what they were. (and send me one for the idea)
