He's an idiot for doing his job and getting media exposure with a tv show a lot of HS kids watch?

Okay.... you must be part of the "get off my lawn!" crowd.

awesome comment on deadspin:
Compromise: I won’t file my recruiting violation claim to the NCAA IF Harbaugh gets the stinkface from Rikishi.

It's the WWE. Can't get much worse than that.
And I'm definitely not part of the get off my lawn crowd.

Some people love the WWE, might not be a big thing in NJ, but in Michigan and the mid west they have a loyal following and some 5* recruits was cheering him on and desifing to attend UM that night.

I can't even begin to name the hundreds of famous athletes who have shown up to Raw and been on TV. Are they tools?

Groups of 10-20 players from NFL, NBA and MLB teams. Superstars like LeBron James and Shaq. Are they tools?

I understand its all entertainment and they all probably get paid for appearances but are they tools Yeah pretty much. I understand that wrestling has a big following I understand those guys are in good shape but if I were a professional athlete why would I want to mingle with these guys they aren't athletes they are stuntmen they might be considered B actors. Mingling with them only gives the perception that it is a sport that they are athletes and lower the status of actual sports. As far as Harbaugh Funny how he was constantly in the news as San Fran coach but you never saw him doing any of the stuff he does now..Guessing his agent is good for recruiting. But YES he too is a tool...a shill that will do anything it takes to succeed in recruiting (Is this a bad thing? Not sure we will have to look at the long term results.....let's not forget Hoke was a great recruiter Harbaugh is currently winning with Hole a recruits)

Donald Trump was on WWE... the "hair" match with Vince M.

I can imagine the SNL spoofs with Trump and Clinton on SNL in a cage match.
I would pay to see that.

There is nothing wrong whatsoever about appearing on a WWE show.

The thing I find most interesting about Harbaugh is that he would prefer to deal with college and recruiting scene as opposed to the NFL life.

I remember Darnell Stapleton getting in the ring as a member of the Steelers. A former member of the WBB team was a WWE wrestler for a while.

The WWE is very popular all over the country, including NJ. WrestleMania was at the Meadowlands not too long ago. Harbaugh was smart to get face time on one of their shows.

It's not so much showing up at a WWE event, it's the fact that he acted like a maniacal idiot fan.

You can think whatever you'd like lol! Tons of pro athletes, entertainers, wall street people, etc, etc., go to see RAW, etc, live, and don't get "paid" for their appearances. Sure, there are guys who DO get paid, now-and-then, to be an actual part of the show, but not the guys who just go because they enjoy it.

Oh yeah, saying these guys aren't "athletes," lol, as people love to say around here "I dare you to say that to their faces"! Plenty of former collegiate athletes have been, or are currently, in the WWE!

There's also a long history of former football players in the WWE going back to Ernie Ladd who was a member of the KC Chiefs and wrestled in the off season.

Some more current former players are...

The Rock - Dwayne Johnson
Steve Austin - Steve Williams
Bradshaw - John Layfield
Brock Lessner
Ron Simmons

Not quite an ex-NFL player, but current WWE superstar, Roman Reigns, was an All-ACC defensive tackle at Georgia Tech about a decade ago.

Going on national TV decked out in Michigan gear makes him a tool and an idiot? I have a feeling you aren't in marketing.

I know I used to know quite a few of them. A friend of mine was producer back in the late eighties early nineties. You know when Seargant Slaughter and the Iron Shiek...Mortal Enemies...Got arrested together on a drug rap after a vehicular stop on parkway. Bam Bam Bigelow graduated Neptune High School so Did Diamond Dallas Page (Who was as big a self promoter as there was (Used to Manage Trade Winds in Sea Bright then got money behind him and opened a Club in Hollywood Florida)
