So you know this, for a fact, but no one else knows anything? Is that my understanding of your statements? Do you not see the hypocrisy in this?
Hypocrisy???...You are really not very bright for a Rutgers Alum NUTS...you spew all kinds of crap and expect everybody should agree with YOU ... Why?... because AreYouNuts says so...I 'm playing the same game you and others in your " special " crew do... It's not only my take on the subject of Flood...What I have heard, from some "very reliable" upper crust Rutgers donors is ....Flood is back unless we have more serious issues and wins LESS than 4 games...is that not possible?... NUTS we ALL have our special circle of reliable sources in the world of Rutgers football...after 46 years ( probably your age) I choose to root for the coach , team , staff and even our ALWAYS inept administration...I have maintained that none of us will be consulted as to whom will be our next coach or AD in the next few years nor should we...my opinion is Flood will be the coach in 2016...Sorry if you interrupt this as Hypocritical of me.

Are You Nuts -- Obviously you are not now, nor have ever really been, a Loyal Son of Rutgers.

LOL! I am one of the most "loyal sons" out there buddy! I am LOYAL to the team, to the program, and to the school, NOT to any one "coach." Coaches, my friend, come and go, and a "fan" DOES NOT, in any way, shape, or form, have to like any single one of them.

Challenging MY loyalty to Rutgers. I mean, seriously, are you that oblivious to the things I've done, and continue to do, to promote RU Football and athletics on my own time and of my own good will? LOL you've GOT to be kidding. [pfftt]

Nuts I'm not kidding. Either you stand up and battle for Rutgers football, as it exists not as you might wish it existed. Or you duck down, retreat, and look for some other flag to rally around.

I think it is pretty easy to determine whether Flood is back. If his suspension is extended due to pending investigation, he is gone. If his suspension is lifted and he gets us 3 or more more wins, he is back and official line is "we are making changes to ensure longer term integrity of the the program." If suspension is lifted and he wins less than 2 games, he is gone with official line being "we have reviewed our policies in depth and believe a number of violations occurred by the program and that Kyle Flood has been terminated for cause in lieu of that." For the latter two scenarios, Rutgers keeps the investigation on-going until they decide which way Flood's fate will be. The recruiting class will start its disintegration in about 3 weeks.

Yes, your comments above are 100% hypocritical regardless of what I, or any other poster, has to say. That being said I'm not going to insult you as, ONCE AGAIN, you've done to me. Also, please show me where, in any of the current threads, I have spoken a single word about the current status of Kyle Flood, as our HC, as factual (which you have done)? Until then, seriously Bob, lay off already this is getting to be beyond acceptable.

Thanks.

You just said it right there: "stand up and battle for RUTGERS FOOTBALL" and I do, every day, to the end.

so areyou --if julie gets canned what is your reaction to RU?

All depends upon the circumstances. Tim Pernetti was a classmate, and longtime acquaintance, but I understood what happened, and why, and didn't cry about it - for months - all over social media like some many, many did, right? I give everyone a chance - and was actually "okay" with Flood until Oct of 2013, but we don't need to get into all of that again.

Once more: I am 150% behind the teams, at Rutgers, all the time, since I was born, and until the day I die.

one thing I know right now. We are collectively o fer 2 on these things. The collective first impression was that Flood would never do anything to effect a players grade or inappropriate. The collective first impression was that Carroo was an out of control dope who picked up a girl and slammed her head into the ground.

I think I am 1 fer 2 but I'm sitting this one out and letting it run its full course.. I know this much. If he is let go for this "work around" angle...once again RU can't just fire somebody cause the results are not acceptable...rather we have to have a drama involved over a non-results issue. I feel like we're a bunch of weasels.

Sorry GeorgeStreet, but I entirely disagree with this sentiment. Blind loyalty is reserved for a program, NOT a coach.

Kyle Flood was supremely inexperienced in the first place, his W/L has been grossly inflated by facing 19 pancake teams over his career, he obviously broke rules in both a stupid and nefarious manner, he can't recruit big time players in his own state, and perhaps most importantly, he helms one of the worst defenses in the country for a 3rd consecutive year.

A true loyal son to Rutgers separates bias and focuses on the program and how it can be improved. So when many of us rip away that bias, and look at the plain as day results... it's not hard to deduce the remedy.

AreYouNuts -- You can battle for Rutgers football, as it exists, or you can pose as a great fan of Rutgers while determinedly trying to undermine it. Both you and WhiteBus strike me as posers. WhiteBus even goes down to the field sideline to spread his toxic philosophy.

Follow your generals until they are replaced by people given the authority to replace them. Traitors have always claimed they love their country while doing their utmost to destroy it.

Loyalty is not something you can pick and chose about from time to time.

Remember when they fired Terry Shea? There were three games left in the season and they allowed him to coach those games. Wonder if they'd do something similar

I give up. You simply don't get it and I'm not hear to argue with people who are blinded as such. Calling me a "poser"?? Wow. You do realize that I LITERALLY do things for RU - of my own FREE time and will - that most here have never even thought of doing? Yet you're calling me a "poser" and a "traitor" because I don't like a coach? Hey, guess what, I wanted Terry Shea fired, too, how about you?

BTW - I could make the case for you being the "poser," and not a fan of Rutgers Football, but just one of Kyle Flood. How would that make you feel?

Unbelievable.

If the administration cared one iota about winning football games Flood would have been fired already. The fact is that no one in a position of authority could care less about anything but the money that comes with playing in the B1G. Come next week Flood will be standing proudly on the sidelines coaching the team as ineptly as always. He will be here next season as well regardless of the win-loss record. Hell, he is likely to become a lifer at Rutgers and coach until he has earned a nice big fat State of NJ pension. When are some of you going to finally accept the fact that Rutgers University doesn't care about winning? I'm not just blowing off steam. Show me any evidence to the contrary.

This is Rutgers freaking football, not the United States military. Most of us are diehard fans of the Rutgers football program who will support the team and/or school until we die. This loyalty does not extend to the coach, who can leave at anytime he wants (see: Schiano), or who has violated the very integrity that he has long stood for in the most stupid of ways (Flood). To continue your already silly analogy, if many battles are lost and large numbers of soldiers are getting misused, hurt or killed under his watch, it is fair to question a generals position. Putting those two together, many of us fans will continue attending games and supporting the team at all times, but no longer support the head coach in question.

By the way, in the absurd case you are being even remotely serious, a sailor, solider, Marine or airmen swears his/her allegiance to the country and vows to uphold the constitution. I never swore shit to serve a particular individual.

Thinking like yours leads to lining people up against walls or giving them one way train tickets to prison camps...

Really? Not a distinct possibility at all! Think you are a bit over the top with your critique. It's not like he stuck his d*ck out on the 50 for gosh sake. I think your agenda is showing.

Not only did he knowingly violate the rules he went out of his way to not get caught and asked people to help in covering his tracks. What it means is that HE CAN'T BE TRUSTED. It would've led to almost anyone else being terminated immediately.

at least I don't crap my pants an d my mouth as you would know

Has Flood coached his last game at RU?

No. I just checked the schedule. There are 7 more games left in the season after his suspension ends.

This is becoming another epic thread. Flood haters are out in force, sharpening their pitchforks while proclaiming their undying loyalty for RU FB.

The reason they want Flood gone is because they love RU so much that they want to protect the rest of us fans from making the mistake of supporting our current HC. Too funny.

Not at all and I've said it before: You, and everyone else, are more than welcome to support any coach you'd like. I've never said otherwise. Am I surprised at the lengths some have gone, to continue to back this guy, sure, but that's their/your choice.
