This young man has more wisdom and a finer perspective on living a successful life than many people twice or three times his age.

It would be foolish of us to not see this as a testament to Chris Ash' coaching style. The fact that the kid went out of his way to praise him says a lot about both of their characters. It makes me believe in Chris Ash as a recruiter.

Player was benched, and that is not enough for some, who feel the need to continue to cast stones and possibly libel/slander him.

If he is preaching to the kids (on any religion) I believe that is over stepping a boundary. If he is talking with kids as a mentor I think that is fine.

I'm not a religious person at all. That said I find it disturbing so many here look down on those who are, especially a college professor who if nothing else should be open minded enough to accept other's beliefs.
