Laviano has not shown he can throw it more than 15 yards downfield. Stack the box, stuff the run. Easy to game plan against. Rettig instantly changes that dimension IMO.

What did you see in the spring game and half of Norfolk along with the many many practice sessions that you saw that makes you realize retting is more capable? Oh I forgot. You and I are not on the staff and have only a brief glimpse of rettig and really have no basis to think it is the right time. Clueless
