Hurley took over a train wreck and they are now might going to the NCAA tourny this season. Your above statement is like saying Schiano in 2006 had a career losing record at Rutgers and was therefore a lousy coach , even though they won 10 games in 2006.

I mean...it's not hard to see for people who haven't had a raging hard on to have Eddie Jordan shitcanned since he lost Freeman in early November.
Freeman and Sanders return next year. Williams is a Junior, as is Foreman. Laurent is a sophomore and apparently Nigel Johnson is better than Sanders (which is why Kwe Parker decommitted, because he felt he wouldn't play early here). Oh and we won't have Laurent or Foreman playing center next year and we won't have our starting center getting water drained from his knees 2-3 times per week.
What was the excuse last year and the year before that ? Listen I love Eddie, saw every one of his home games when he played at RU , went on the road and watched the NCAA tourny games too and was at the regionals and Final 4 to cheer him and the team on. But this BB staff STINKS. They HAVE to be replaced, and I think it will be done rather quickly.

Why on earth is everyone so enamored with Hurley other than compared to what's going on at Rutgers the last 30 years anyone looks good.
If Hobbs can do better than Hurley, eg Herb Sendeck, hey , I'm all for it ! The Fairleigh Dickenson coach now going to the NCAAs (beat RU at Ru, beat Seton Hall at Seton hall, beat Princeton) all this season! , would be an updgrade too. Heck maybe Tom Brennan wants to give up his Sirius gig and come back to NJ ! (Phillipsburg)
I strongly agree. Since there is little to no chance of this team winning in the near future anyway, may as well bring in Hurley so we can begin the 3 year clock on never having to see his name mentioned here ever again.

Sorry,, But there are plenty of better options than Hurley, right now, and options that we can afford.
The first year for Eddie. USC coach won 11 games his first year. Penn State coach won 12 games. I was at press conference and Eddie had 4 players. BC coach won 0 games 2nd year in coaching at BC, bad programs take time. And yes Eddie should go. And no Hurley, go after Sendek, has won over 400 game in career in major conferences. Jim Baron was coach at Rhody. Won 26,20 and 23 games before the last year won 7 games. Rhody was a pretty good program that hurley took over.

No thanks to Hurley, we can do better than that. No rush to hire anyone, we have sucked for 30 years, take our time and find the right guy.
I hear this guy Flood is available. Nice guy. Cares about academics. Already on payroll.
