How come we didn't get Akrum Wadley?

Wadley is doing good for Iowa. We probably had too many running backs for him to come here.

Flood and staff liked others more than Wadley. Plus kids coming out of Weequahic are usually an academic risk of being/staying eligible.

Hicks and Martin....OOPS wrong year

He wasn't a highly rated RB out of a HS. Played at a HS that doesn't produce a lot of D1 players. Only offers were Temple and Iowa where his recruiter was Darrell Wilson (prior to RU).

I taught Phys.Ed. at his high school for 8 years. No FB team as stated. The kids get to pick and choose what Newark H.S. to play for.University is a gifted and talented school ,good academics,so these kids can get accepted practically every where.
