How many are there? They multiply ya know!
I thought we announced we sold out all home games with season tickets or something?Because the demand for Rutgers tix isnt that great...school sells them online
No.. in past games people indicated that ticket brokers hold a lot of tickets and dumped them late against the cupcake teams.. tix were listed for $2-$3.. some fans who had season tickets last year said they were denied season tix this year and were upset when they saw this ticket dumping. We lost 4 games early and fans sold the tickets.

Oh my God, knock it off. Maybe - MAYBE - 500.
Yeah I did not think there was a lot of PSU fans there either. None in my section - and looking around did not see a lot either.Oh my God, knock it off. Maybe - MAYBE - 500.
Yup. I didn’t see that many.Oh my God, knock it off. Maybe - MAYBE - 500.
People forget that when you have fan sitting in the 300 level seats that noise just cascades down.Yup. I didn’t see that many.
How do you know all these cheap tix were dumped by brokers? Our fans sell tickets too. In the past two seasons, I was able to buy OOC tickets from board member for $5-10 each. Some fans dumped OOC tickets to SeatGeek/Stubhub and turned on dynamic pricing. So the price would keep dropping through time.No.. in past games people indicated that ticket brokers hold a lot of tickets and dumped them late against the cupcake teams.. tix were listed for $2-$3.. some fans who had season tickets last year said they were denied season tix this year and were upset when they saw this ticket dumping.
They like losing money?Did anyone think our fans bought them to come. Lots of football season ticket holders bought with intentions of selling
It is amazing that people don’t understand that Corporate sponsors get tickets as part of the contract & can do what they want with them. Both seat geek & stub hub are corporate sponsors, does anyone think that the CEO’s of these companies are gonna sit in them? It's pretty clear that RU still selling tickets through StubHub or SeatGeek in the 300s. Pretty dissapointing that they didn't sell them as normal season tix to RU fans. I have different people around me every game.
Def more than usual for the Peds, presumably because they're off to a good start. To be fair they're one of the least obnoxious visiting fanbases at the RAC imo.
there were still a good number...last year they took over in the late stages as RU fans filed out and RU lost by 16
most upper level but some scattered in the 200s..only heard them once this game. RU going up bigly for most of the game basically negated them and then when it got close, the rac came alive on defense
I didn't notice them at all. In fact, I said to my seat mates in 114 it was nice to see virtually NO PSU fans in the stands.Oh my God, knock it off. Maybe - MAYBE - 500.
So pathetic but then again there was a thread on here a month ago with people bragging about haggling with the minimum wage employee at a Shake Shack that they could get a free shake without buying anything. We’ve essentially shut out opposing teams from the RAC the past 4-5 years.
If any opposing team has a fanbase that infiltrates the RAC this year or beyond it’s on fickle Rutgers fans for selling their season tickets to games or on Rutgers fans for not buying up the tickets that are available on the market.
Our fans are generally cheap and want discounted tickets. I often have pretty good 200 level seats available if my whole family can’t make a game and look to sell on the boards to get them in the hands of Rutgers fans and people often try and nickel and dime me or haggle for the tickets.
I can’t make it (or choose not to drive over an hour each way particularly for night games with sketchy weather) quite often. I always look to the board first but it’s tough - there’s very little demand even for the game Tuesday. I end up selling them on seatgeek when I can vs leaving them empty. Hopefully they go to rutgers fans. If I give up my tickets which I probably would have this year if not for the freshmen I have doubts about a rutgers fan buying vs a ticket broker. (Upper 200 on the aisle). I probably wont renew this year and just buy better tickets for the few games I’m able to attend. Hopefully a true fan buys them. We’ve essentially shut out opposing teams from the RAC the past 4-5 years.

It was the first game I missed (2 300 level seats) due to being out of town. I tried to sell them on the ticket board here and even dropped the price 3 times. Finally dumped them on SeatGeek for $35 each

Correct. For what I pay and how often I can get there I’m better off picking a couple games a year and getting great seats.Yep I’m in the same exact situation as my drive is also an hour (minimally) each way.
For weeknight games it’s closer to 1.5 hours to get to the RAC for me as it can take 30 minutes to go the 5 miles from Exit 9 to the RAC like it did the other night.
I’ve had my seats for about 8 years. For conference games I always look to sell them to Rutgers fans on this board (as opposed to making a small profit and risking opposing fans sitting in the seats).
I try to sell for face value (or below) to Rutgers fans and I can’t tell you how many times people have tried to barter back and forth or have committed to buying them only to change their mind later (probably bc they found cheaper). I’m almost at the point where I’ll just sell on SeatGeek because it’s just easier.
Having basketball season tickets is a major commitment (time and money). The weeknight games are not easy to get to (especially the 6:30pm games).
People that think basketball season tickets are such a bargain need to realize how much of a commitment it actually is.
And the more they raise prices the more season ticket holders will offload onto SeatGeek - which means more opposing fans in the building when we play schools like PSU, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, Purdue etc.
These are the fans who would be more than willing to pay above face value to see their team every 1-2 years play at the RAC.
I equalized the prices and the only way I got them to sell was on seat geekIt's the way of the ticket world. If you bought a ticket for $100 and it's going for $200 on a third party website, people will want to pay $100 for it because that's what you paid. If said ticket is going for $25 on the open market, they will want to pay $25.
