Harper was trying to kill the the time left on the clock but he was too close to the mid court line dribbling with close defensive pressure.He was hoping to get fouled but in this game making foul shots was a problem .Did anyone notice? On one of the last possessions Harper's foot touched the mid court line while dribble in the front court. It should have been a violation. I mention this because he was flirting with that scenario about 5 times in the game
