HUGE win on so many levels….

I’m not demanding anything.
Nor do I suggest Schiano or anyone on the staff be let go.

I’m not that kinda guy. What we have is what we are given the resources our fans and school have decided to allocate at this time.

My whole argument that you’re missing is that people who look at Indiana and say “oh that’s not sustainable “ . My argument is that’s a bizarre and clueless comment. RU is building its program mostly the old way , while we’re seeing lots of examples of teams that were in our tier now enjoying once in a generation type success the “new” way.
Fair enough. I'd rather be the team that doesn't sweat out going .500 and is always a good team then ride the rollercoaster. Since 2012 Rutgers has been a nightmare except last year.
I never believed in don't wake the sleeping giant nonsense. Rutgers isn't going to be the giant.

We’re both coming from the same place and dreams for the team.

Maybe we have different hopes for how high the program can go. And that’s where my argument centers around. It’s become obvious that this current , and likely very temporary, model of college football allows a chance for the non blue bloods to construct a team and break into the playoff.

The conferences are so large that like Indiana this year .. you can get years where the schedule breaks just right then you can construct a one year roster to take advantage of that.

What pisses me off about this season is that we had the formula set for us. We had a defense and run game that was good enough and the schedule was more than favorable.

can’t predict when the injury bug hits and it hit us hard this season. last season was good in terms of injuries and we had 7 wins and beat miami in a bowl.

Is there a Touchdown Club meeting tonight? It was on the original schedule, but Inhave gotten no emails about it. Maybe it was postponed to later date, because of the October meeting re-scheduling ..

I thought 10 wins was the ceiling. 8 wins realistic.
Ten wins was never the ceiling except those idiots that posted we would be still be in contention for the playoffs going into the USC game.
Like I said logical people were saying 8.

Ceiling is a stretch goal and that was definitely a possibility for this year if things fell right. I never thought we would be in playoff contention.

That's a contradiction. There will be teams with 10 wins in the playoffs.
A stretch goal by your definition is like hitting the Powerball.
