I’m telling all my buddies we just landed a 4* recruit for the upcoming year. EO, combined with Young, Yeboah and Mulcahy is really a better class then I could have hoped for!

So is EO going to sit out a year on his own then play for someone else the following year while not going to school ? What school is going to take him this year at this point with his knee issues

Carino just tweeted tampering. Doesn’t know who. I will guess Kansas or an acc squad.

Ridiculous.
The more I think about this the more angry I get. It’s a really unclassy for Eugene to do this in the middle of the night with no warning. Maybe he recognizes this and comes back. But if not - see you later

I'm looking for him to go to program that's not in a major conference but feels he's worth a 2 for one . Expect he'll have his knee problem fixed by surgery with Rutgers footing the bill for the surgery and rehabilitation done where his new school wants and use their facilities during his red-shirt year to get ready for the 2020-2021 season.

This is just speculation on my part:
If surgery not going to happen, could be a waiver sought to make him immediately eligible so he doesn't have to sit a year.
Reason for that waiver could be just about anything from Rutgers didn't treat his injury right to they did but ( name program) has better facilities to rehabilitate his knees without surgery or needs to be closer to home while trying to rehabilitate his knees because of the support he'll get from family and friends.

Kansas??? Dude has a bum knee and has to sit out a year after running from competition for PT at Rutgers but Kansas is going to be first in line rolling out the red carpet for injured EO?

I seriously doubt that Providence will have a better facility and support system than RU. Someone stated that they don't even have an open scholarship at this point. I don't know if this is true but that Eugene's good friend from his team in Canada plays for Providence. How many teams will be willing to take him on scholarship for two years to play just one with a questionable knee? This might be risky for schools. We shall see.

In about twenty seconds, we are opening a brand new Sports Medicine facility about a 30 second walk from the RAC. Heck, even if he is on crutches after the surgery, it is at most a two minute walk. His leaving still seems off to me.

Of all things, I don’t think he transferred because of fear of playing time. Let’s see our best defender ,rebounder etc is nervous because he won’t play much. Nah. Other reasons dictated the move and a senior captain leader of a squad to leave for 1 last hurrah must have been worthy for him - hence a contender We ll find out soon.

He decides to come back and he's by far my least favorite player on the team.
