Panic is starting to creep in! There are only a few hours left to buy something.

Water. Canned goods. Batteries.

Stuff you should have anyway.

After going long stretches in school on basically cereal, ramen noodles, and Brita water (gotta save for beer money!), I think you'll be fine.

Go to K Mart and buy a couple of those classic videos for 6.99
I suggest:
Stone Cold...The Boz and Lance Hendrickson
Beyond The Law...Charlie Sheen
Both are fun snow movies

Went to the store on Wed night, not to prep for the storm, but because I needed stuff, and it was already wiped out. water was flying off the shelves, no chicken, milk case was empty.
I know i sound like the old guy in the Mt St Helen's TV movie i saw as a kid, but it's 8-12" or 12-18". Sandy was a once in a 5 lifetimes storm, but folks are still rattled.

Just got a couple pounds of fresh mozzarella and a pound of sausage from Sapore's for homemade pizza. I'll make the dough this afternoon and have it tomorrow. Got a bottle of stoli and a couple Hess Collection Cabernet. Fire in the fire place soon to come. Can't decide whether it'll be a good book or binge watch a series, my wife can pick that.

Arent people supposed to get stuff that doesnt need a fridge incase the power goes out?

I suppose you can always store the stuff outside though.

Sounds like you're building up to a 3 input weekend. Good luck.

I recommend a good metal snow shovel. You might have to order online because I can't seem to find them at the hardware or big box stores. Last year, I bought one of those plastic jobs that have all but replaced the metal ones and the head cracked clean off after about three snowstorms of use - absolute piece of sh#t. Some things are worth investing a little more in.

Forgot to go to the liquor store so when I go after work I'll be in line for 20 minutes. Crap, not prepared.

I order online at my local Total Wine (River Edge,) and simply go and pick up at the courtesy desk. Too late at this point, but Wednesday night I placed my order online and picked it up during lunch on Thursday. Haven't tried they're home delivery yet, too convenient to work.

People that dont like to steal... the free stuff is mostly low quality.

lmao - I've literally never heard anyone extend that argument to porn. But I guess ya can't let this upstanding member of society starve:

Plus, if you get off on being raped ...

Adult beverages, food you don't have on hand that you actually plan on eating this weekend.

I like to support the female porn stars in particular. I follow them on twitter and facebook.

Most of them have a wish list on amazon and i gift them lots of stuff every month. They make private videos for me in return. I even have phone numbers of a few and sext regularly.

They all refer to me as Daddy and i am fine with that.

I think I have enough water and bread and food for a day at home...wtf?

If a homeowner with portable generator- get it oiled up and have 5-10 gals of gas available and salt for the driveway. That about it...

Why is there a run on shovels before every storm? What do people with previously purchased shovels??
