I recommend a good metal snow shovel. You might have to order online because I can't seem to find them at the hardware or big box stores. Last year, I bought one of those plastic jobs that have all but replaced the metal ones and the head cracked clean off after about three snowstorms of use - absolute piece of sh#t. Some things are worth investing a little more in.

Always good advice, and as simple as shovels are, I can believe it. Not sure why everyone has cheaped out so bad on snow shovels. I'd happily pay a premium for a good, solid shovel, but it's been hard to come by.

As for cheap shovels, I see them on the curb for trash day after every storm.
