From a basketball point of view, I totally agree. (And it's not just RU, although this year RU's gap is pretty extreme.)

I just worry about the team being rusty after long layoffs. A week between games (Harvard on 12/8 followed by LSU on 12/15) and then 13 days before opening the B1G schedule against a solid Northwestern team on the 28th
