As usual when there is big news that is negative, I am going to allow a venting period (within reason). From there, we are going to merge the common threads and encourage thoughtful threads/posts. A thoughtful thread/post is one that is free of emotion and looks at the facts/implications.
If your intention is to post, "We are SCREWED!!! Fire EVERYONE!!!!" then there is a chance that your post will be deleted (or at the very least merged with an existing thread) after the venting period. If your post is an insightful one looking into how the current situation affects the team, then it will remain.
