I'm done with football

Chelsea got destroyed by Everton
Yanks got whooped by Toronto
RU gets their heart broken
Giants lose due to Romo's clutchness

I'm done with sports, period.

I actually think the Giants loss was even dumber and worse than the Rutgers loss. The Giants had complete control of the game and there is no reason the Cowboys should have gotten the ball back with anywhere near that much time. Eli was snapping the ball with like 15 seconds left early the drive. Not taking a sack or running it on that last play and at least eating up another 40 seconds? Just inexcusable.

I was just discussing with friends. I need new teams across the board. The Giants don't understand clock management. The Yankees are old. And Rutgers is in jail. Open to suggestions for new teams.

We got the Mets!!!! Let's go Mets! [banana]

I normally only ask the Mets to give me something to be interested in until football season. That's not asking for much and they normally have let me down. This year, I need the Mets to pay me back with a World Series win.

I really took a beating this weekend as a Rutgers/Yankees/Giants fan. Absolutely brutal.

But will any of the blue bloods put us over clean? Or will our push stall out in the IC title level?
Nobody knows at this point, but what we do know is almost nobody on here understands or follows wrestling and is making no attempt to understand it, so they don't bitch about it. Wrestling fans are like hockey fans--they know their shit, and people don't mess with them, not even on the boards. So it's worth the risk.

Also, other fanbases are civil towards one another during wresting matches, and answer questions very articulately about how things work. I became a wrestling fan two years ago and am starting to get sucked in. Follow RU this year--we play in the Big Boy conference of wrestling.

I'm not sure if above post is about wrestling or wrestling.

Anyway wake me up for fencing season. Go West Essex...beat Millburn!

If Kyle Flood returns as head coach of Rutgers next year...as an old timer who has been in the stands since the 1960s....I am giving up being in the stands. When it comes to KNOWLEDGE of FOOTBALL, this coach has less than any other head coach here since the 1960s.

Yeah...not really a memorable weekend for me.
The endings to the Rutgers and the Giants games were pure torture.
Why did Eli throw that pass on third down ?

As a Giants/Rutgers fan, the fact that both games ending about the same way does not bode well for my own sanity this season.

:weary::football:

I would suggest on the Rutgers front we get behind women's soccer. I know some will struggle but they deserve it. On the level it's all about the mets right now although the cowboy win was good for me as well.
