The media and many of the fans here are campaigning for Hurley, which I probably would be too if he hadn't had red flags of hotheadedness this season. And those might not be bad to us as longtime fans, but in the post Mike Rice-era it might have to be a deal breaker, at least at Rutgers.

I think that whole thing is silly....the media trying to invent a controversy. Maybe he thought it was more important to talk to his team. The media was just hurt because they wanted a story and for King Rice to get on TV and blast the NCAA selection committee.
