Time for Corey to bring it every night and be the difference maker night in and night out

If he does....it sets up for a pretty solid finish for this year ...and the potential for this program to make a nice step up in his final year with additional pieces coming on board

Clearly can be a 18-20 ppg scorer in a good way ....and we have a chance against every team on our schedule when he brings it

Sanders performance has a lot to do with match ups and what scoring assistance he is receiving from teammates.

He could make it easier on himself if he could hit 3 or 4 three's a game. He gets some open shots, but usually can't make them. Anybody hitting those would help.

Although your statement is true my only observation is that his time to have done so has been all year. He hasn't been consistent at all but the time for him to have done what you say he should start doing now was back on opening night. That's been one of our biggest problems thus far this year. I want to believe he will be "that guy" from here on out, every remaining game, but his track record says he won't.

During the Nebraska game last week, the color commentator said that Sanders has only made one three-pointer on the road in B1G play, something like 1-for 20. He needs to get out of that funk for us to have a chance tonight.

Is it just me (no patience to look it up) or has Sanders played absolutely ABYSMAL on the road this season (which, obviously, leads to poor team play and some seriously stunning losses score-wise....)??

IMHO: he hits a couple early, and doesn't get flustered, we CAN win this game. If the opposite happens, ugh, I fear a 20+ point loss.

Okay in B1G play:

@ PU - 8
@ MSU - 22
@ Mich - 12
@ PSU - 0
@Ill - 10
@ Neb - 14

...so he's averaging 11 per game in B1G play, which isn't as horrendous as I thought, HOWEVER, only 9 PPG over the last 4 and I can't even imagine how bad his shooting % and T-to-A ratios have been.

plain and simple..he does not bring it every game....and that will not change next year, he is what he is..singlehandedly capable of producing a win but then we have the flip side

It would be nice if there were safety valves, you know like the other 4 players on the floor and 5 who may check in off the bench.

Where’s the board favorite Geo Baker?

Corey was slipping all over the place tonight, and kept wiping the bottoms of his shoes.

What’s up with their floor? Or his shoes?

It's difficult to be a complete offensive player without a semblance of a jumper...especially from 3 point range.

Perhaps he can improve as a floor general, though his game is to attack the rim. I just don’t think he can do what the OP asks.
