Jerome Coleman looking to reconnect with Rutgers

Pretty cool. His first year he really lit it up and more than made up for the transfer of Todd Billet.
Awesome story. This program has lacked everything like this for the last 15 years.
I seem to remember Coleman and Ricky trading 3's up at the Dome one night. It was like one would hit a 3 then the other would shoot from further away trying to out do each other.
Loved watching him play. When he made a 3, the next time down the court he'd make sure he was a step or two further out, just to see if he could make it. I think he took some shots from College Ave some nights and still swished them. I hope he is able to come back in some manner to the program.
When I think of Coleman, this is the game that immediately comes to mind...

Remember watching Coleman as a kid right around when I started getting into Rutgers sports. My brother was a freshman in NB and I was 12. Can't believe that was 15 years ago $hit I'm getting old.
Happy to say I had a lot to do with JC getting back in the RAC...so many former players have expressed interest in reconnecting with the program to me these past few months. Watching Jerome get back into the locker room and the smile that brought to his face...man, it made everything worth it!
JC has tale after tale of Big East battles and his European travels during his pro career. After practice, it was a great honor to be involved in the conversation he had with Coach Knight and Coach Hobbs reminiscing about the glory days of the old Big East.
Jerome is an A+ human being. He loves RU and has great pride in the program that so many have forgotten about or distanced themselves from thru the years. Hell, he even pitched in with the CC auction this season with some kick ass autographed gear.
Hoping to get together again this week...perhaps an update on his future plans then!

Great to read about Jerome. Definitely one of my all-time favorite RU players. Also nice to see that Mike Sherrod has grown up and seems to be doing well, too.
