He is a special unique talent that will take us to the next level! Hope we can redshirt him so that we can surround him with adequate talent so that he can be successful. I am forecasting that with the additions of guys like him, Micah, and Bo, there will be enough talent to BEAT OSU and Michigan by 2020, which will be year 5 of the Chris Ash building plan. Exciting times are ahead!

You would think that after the last couple of years especially, people around here would learn nothing is guaranteed until the ink is try on that NLOI [eyeroll]

Lol,but if it is football and there is one player to make the team a lot better, it is the QB.
Lewis is the guy.
The QB is definitely more important than other players in the offense. But all other things being equal, he's still not going to turn a bad team into a good team.
For example, without good protection and good WRs, a great QB can only improve things so much. And in the Big Ten East, we're mostly playing teams that require us to be good enough at pretty much all 11 spots on the field on offense.
The flip side of my argument is that with a great incoming QB, it can be easier to recruit great WRs or great TEs, etc. So getting Lewis is very important for us.
I like manic Al 10,000 times better than the broken, depressed Al we had last December.

If you watch him in HS, you will see he elevates his game exponentially against the best competition. So I agree with Al. At some time in his career he will find a way to beat both OSU and Michigan at least one time. Hopefully its in the same year.

I will put Lewis in this catagory - As Chuchill said after the victory in North Africa - it is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is the end of the beginning. The hopeful arrival of a QB like Lewis is a huge step in the right direction.
Good, I was wondering how we would win those games next year and now I have the answer. Just curious OP, if for some reason he does not play we still win correct?
Let's rehash that thread from last season where Rutgers had All Conference players at nearly every position group, a had a plethora of big time talent...almost all of those players are back...
Al, Rutgers has one quality OLine recruit in this years class (Micah Clark) that might be B1G ready in two or three years and none in the previous 3 classes, but until Ash recruits at least 4 more OLineman that are B1G quality, No QB will take them to the promised land.
Normally, Al, I like your enthusiasm, but like one poster stated before, I think we should hold off on this type of talk until LOI day. Ash has a tough road ahead.
When Al only predicted 8 wins, as versus 12-0, that's when I just KNEW that it was going to be a tough year. :-)

It was a very poor choice. I would be personally grateful to each and every one of you for never mentioning that video again instead of encouraging Al to make another. Yes, Savon nearly decommitted, the school was in a tizzy, Al was nearly banned from everywhere Schiano could try to get him banned from, that video made a lot of bad waves.
Someone asked Savin on Twitter if he ever saw the video and he said no. So much for that.

Yes, it's true Savon never saw the video himself, but trust me when I tell you that it was a huge debacle nevertheless. Or, you can just continue to talk out of your ass and argue with people about something you don't know about. The choice is yours. I'm not discussing this any further.
