Kansas loses two offensive linemen

7-5 or this season will be a failure. Teams prepare and replace QBs and other players year in and year out. 7-5 or an absolute failure.
That's funny because if we beat OSU, UM, MSU, PSU, NEB, and Wisky and lose all the rest it may just be our best season ever.

I can. If he wins four games, hes gone. We arnet paying him that much and his recruiting will drop off the map.

Look - Scourge - anyone can beat us. Even Norfolk State, if we have a rash of injuries and they play their best game ever. But Army is Kansas level bad. If we lose its because we are bad team that isnt really even worth following, and we are likely bad enough that we get a new coach.

if Rutgers loses you can join my stamp collecting club, 1st stamp is free. Sure it is boring but at least you can have something to do during the games.

Also, Big Ten bowl games are better than Big East Bowl games. Not all bowl games are created equal.
(Right, I am not expecting much. Hoping, cheering and praying in front of my TV, up in Mass though.)

This is how things SHOULD play out.
-Norfolk
-Mike Leech
-Franklin (PSU is still playing with a lack of talent. You took over a very good RU roster Flood and have been in the seat for 4yrs. Let's go)
-Kansas
-Indy
-Army
-Mary
-7 wins

PSU/Mich split is a must. Michigan's roster isn't great. And what I said above about Franklin's team. Its Flood 4th year. Now or never. You can't beat PSU and or Mich when THEY ARE DOWN, Flood will NEVER beat them again.

That actually sounds reasonable. PSU is a pain in the arse to play at their place, just ask OSU last year. That is why I am sticking to 6 wins.

Agreed, we have 6 wins that should be near guaranteed, all we need is one from PSU, Nebraska or Michigan... That doesn't sound bad at all

Huge?? We were better than 2 of 3 last year, it should be an expectation we beat at least 1 this year

Really? I don't know who our starting QB is or who playing on the OL this year. We also don't know how much better those teams are this year. Every single year is different.

Of the two OL no longer with Kansas, one has never taken a snap and the other started 3 games last season. So in other words, the bench will be a bit more chilly when they sit on it. It doesn't really impact the game...which barring a WTF, should still be a win.

You mean to tell me you think "step up now " means today, August 6? Come on man. You know it means when camp starts in a couple days.

It's stuff like this that stifles reasonable conversation on the free board.

You said there was "no indication that was happening" about Rettig "stepping up", which makes no sense because practice hasn't started yet. He was ineligible last year and ran the scout team, meaning this spring was the first time he took reps running the Rutgers offense. That's why no one will engage you in "reasonable conversation".

6-6 with one of the wins being @psu and I'm going to feel pretty good about the season...even if the bowl isn't top notch.
