Would be nuts if the team can get to 14-6 in big ten play. Kenpoms prediction is 12-8 but has us favored in 13 of final 18, pretty crazy. Gonna be a fun couple months.

Kenpom adjusts literally game to game so I wouldn't put too much time into that until early February. Some schools have jumped or fallen by 10 to 15 spots, based on one good or awful game.
Maryland was 18th less than 3 weeks ago, now they are 36th. When you lose by 35 like Maryland did to Michigan yesterday, you're going to crush all of the good work in the other games.
Last year, RU got destroyed at Illinois by 30+, then rebounded to beat Purdue at home. The metrics don't know how to adjust to such extremes.

Again, I hope im wrong but i dont see us getting to 12-8. It certainly does help that we get to play northwestern and minny 2X each though

The conference is good but not as good as it’s been. There’s only a couple of really good teams, a few bad teams, and then a lot of parity in the middle, but the lower rung of the mediocre teams is worse in quality than in past years, I feel.
This year is ripe for us to make a big move into the top 2 or 3 at 14-6, if everything clicks. But we could just as easily end up 9-11.
When was the last time we won ask the games against bottom feeders? Maybe this team is built differently and will do it

Crazier than that…tonight is one of only three games remaining that ESPN FPI has us as an underdog in (at Illinois and at Indiana are the other ). Yes, that means they even have us as above to win at Wisconsin and at Michigan state

How about allowing the bet to be called off in lieu of decent donation to RU/NIL? Right now I'd put top 4 around 40/60. So depending on how important kids are to the man could be worth a decent check 😄

11-9 gets us to 19-12 (If we were to win a game in the BTT, I'd say 20-13 gets us in)
12-8 gets us to 20-11 (we'd prob be top 5/6 in conference with that, safely in)
