He has two years because the 2020-21 season doesn't count toward eligibility (COVID). Even if it did he could also probably apply for a medical redshirt for that season.

He’s one of the few kids out there who doesn’t care about NIL. Heard he never asked about it during his recruitment.

Kids brother was one of the all time great college lacrosse players and after one year of hoops at Northwestern is now between the G league and getting runs with Golden State.

Still don’t understand why people were questioning his athletic ability. He’s not as fast as say JY but he’s plenty athletic.

He had a bad hip injury. He's another year removed from it now. He looks to be in better shape and a bit quicker than some highlights showed. Really has a quick burst and lulls you to sleep with his slow methodical play style

Change of pace is extremely effective. It's always extremely underestimated in its effectiveness

This was exactly my thought watching him play. He looks like a midwestern kid that every other BIG10 team usually has... annoying to play against, good shooter, smart player, athletic, good passer, just one of those glue guys that play hard... he's like Paul M. ,but a better shooter... great to have him on our side.

Agreed about that last part. Few people would say Steph Curry is one of the best athletes on the court, but he understands how to use change of pace incredibly well. Along with those great handles. Between that and his outside shooting threat, he gets to the rim and has creative ways to finish.

Not saying Cam is Steph, but you can see a little bit of his game when you watch him play. I have no doubts he will be an effective player when B1G starts and his game will translate.

17 points in your debut at the RAC is big time. I don't care who we were playing. Love those guys who stuff the stat sheet like he does. Same with Hyatt. He had a great game too. I know Pike sees a team the same way. Guys who can do some of everything. It's a winning formula.

As I wrote in the game thread - I loved what I saw from Cam Spencer last night, but let's pump the breaks and hope he can do it against big time competition. Let's not forget that in his RU opener, Peter Kiss put up 17 points on 7-9 shooting and a scintillating 3-4 from three-point land against a much better FDU team. People were equally ecstatic then. But when the better competition came, Kiss was a bust.
