We had no downfield game at all! Game mngr not the way to go when you are in the best division in football. I don't know if Rettig is the answer but he certainly deserves the chance. Just a crime he couldn't get the ball deep to Caroo or Patton on the outside. Our QB today couldn't get it to all Big Ten reciever; not because of blanket coverage!!
Even if we played clean Laviano just looked slow and lacking downfield ability.
I hated the sloppy game and put that on the coaches but also remember we were giving credit here to finish last season as the team played clean and inspired.
