He took a charge today. Thats a lot of currency for me.
Lathan has the ability to be a very good passer. He likely will be4 assists tonight, it is almost that we should not judge a freshman too harshly in his first month as a college player.
One backdoor to Dylan thought he wouldn't see it!4 assists tonight, it is almost that we should not judge a freshman too harshly in his first month as a college player.
He also has great hands, reminiscent of Myles. For a freshman he never gets rattled, uses his body well to protect the ball, and has good court vision.Lathan has the ability to be a very good passer. He likely will be
He showed some legit maturity. The talent is there. He just needs experience. He’s gonna be a really good player. He was very good yesterday. Best game by far.
Spot on. He finally passed out of the double team and did it well. I loved the kickout to Hayes for a wide open three.4 assists tonight, it is almost that we should not judge a freshman too harshly in his first month as a college player.
This thread sucks. The kid's good and will become very good. But, you see, there's this and that, and then there's this . . .In 18.8 mpg, this freshman big (how many times have we said that it takes freshmen big longer to develop?) is averaging 8.1 ppg, on on .522 shooting percentage and .80 on free throws, and averaging 4.1 boards in those 18.8 minutes, leading the team in blocks, by far, with 9, and has committed a grand total of 4 turnovers in 169 minutes. And YES, he is still learning the game! Who does that surprise?
This is the RU fanbase. This thread sucks. The kid's good and will become very good. But, you see, there's this and that, and then there's this . . .
Thank god that the RU fan base is OK. It's this board that's often a mess.
Well, this board had Caleb transferring down after his freshman year following the first month of his first season here.4 assists tonight, it is almost that we should not judge a freshman too harshly in his first month as a college player.
Really…he was super impressive offensively his first year.Well, this board had Caleb transferring down after his freshman year following the first month of his first season here.
Isn't that the definition of a freshman things? But he looks lost and out of position so much, it can’t be a “freshman “ thing.
At this point this is a recurring narrative in your head that is coloring some pretty weak data about what this kid is thinking.because there is no accountablity. he knows he will at least split time with EO. remember the story of how he threatened to bolt if Pike brought in a center. Never seen a freshman have so much bravado despite lacking a complete game
False. Go back and read all the TKR articles and recruiting threads from the summer. It's report after report of RU trying to recruit various bigs and then losing out due to lack of NIL.Not our expectations, but Pikes. Pike chose to rely on Lathan to be a significant piece of the solution inside. We know that to be true, because he chose to overlook the problem all off season and did nothing about it, even though it was a glaring issue to most others. if these were really the expectations as you say, than clearly something should have been done to fix it.
Sounds like a bust lol.In 18.8 mpg, this freshman big (how many times have we said that it takes freshmen big longer to develop?) is averaging 8.1 ppg, on on .522 shooting percentage and .80 on free throws, and averaging 4.1 boards in those 18.8 minutes, leading the team in blocks, by far, with 9, and has committed a grand total of 4 turnovers in 169 minutes. Heck, posters were saying he should be sat down for Jaden Jones in his third season.Well, this board had Caleb transferring down after his freshman year following the first month of his first season here.
Not me but you're right. Same with EugeneWell, this board had Caleb transferring down after his freshman year following the first month of his first season here.
Another good example. Sadly, these developmental players are dinosaurs now.Not me but you're right. Same with Eugene
This board wanted Caleb gone at halftime of his first game.Well, this board had Caleb transferring down after his freshman year following the first month of his first season here.
almost all of themHeck, posters were saying he should be sat down for Jaden Jones in his third season.
He definitely wears his emotions on his face.Lathan would be an awful poker player, if he got dealt a pair of kings you would know it.
