Laviano are you serious

Clear we have no chance of bowling with him as QB. Just does not have what we need in a QB --- someone capable of taking over and winning a game.

Absolutely cannot have that happen. Didn't give your team a chance at the end.

On the coaches too! Should have already sent in the Hail Mary play from sideline! Also can't give up a sack with only rushing 3! Team played great just couldn't make the defensive stop on their last drive! Something to build on heading into a must win game at Indiana

The ultimate game manager, only when the chips were down, he didn't manage so well.

The sack and 4th down spike would get you benched at other schools. At Rutgers he gets named the starter next week.

What's worse than the sack, what's worse than a 4th down spike, is not even throwing the ball to Caroo once that last series. I don't care if he is triple teamed, the kid gives you a chance.

Laviano is what he is. And I accept that he's the best we've got To work with.

The spike in 4th down was one for the books but he played decently tonight. The whole team did. Good game.

I've tried to give this kid Laviano every possible break in the book but I agree with the naysayers with respect to arm strength. He can't throw a ball beyond 50 yards and good defenses can adjust.

It was a dumb mistake ..but they weren't going to win the game, the sack ended that. Overall, I thought the QB played solid and kept the team in the game. He made some good plays with his feet and some good throws when needed. The kid isn't all world but he is gritty and I don't put the loss on him. His biggest problem throwing isn't his arm, it's his mechanics. He often does not have his feet set and his weight back when he throws. He sort of wings the ball without setting up properly ...that takes velocity off of the throw. He needs to improve and he needs better QB coaching on mechanics.

Laviano was obviously rattled with pressure on the last drive. He was VERY hesitant throwing the ball when he knew the run game couldn't bail him out when faced with a prevent defense. He couldn't have thrown it under and have guys like goodwin or grant get YAC because we only had 40 sec on the clock. Tough position to be in. Good college QBs have ice water in their veins in these types of situations. He doesn't. He's green. Which is understandable. That's why i'd rather we gamble on the green QB with better arm and throwing mechanics (Rettig).

The last drive showed how limited CL is as a QB.

Honestly, you guys can screw up a wet dream

It was BECAUSE OF LAVIANO that we were even in a position to win in the final drive. If Rettig has this kind of game he would have a parade down Easton Ave tomorrow in his honor

I agree with this. Rough play, but blaming Laviano here... come on man

he had a solid game i guess but without Carroo he is nothing.... Then when he does boneheaded things at the end of the game like that you wonder why are we not at least giving rettig a chance to show what he can do.

I just dont get it.
