Let’s get on that bubble…

We killed wisconsin def eff. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

You cant let #303 hang 78 on you in 68 possessions!

Ha ha ha ha
Someone posted our offensive and defensive efficiency numbers from today and said it was among best of the season for both

Where do you find those numbers?

I know it’s a long way out…but the committee last year took into account the team we were without Mag. They have to take into account the team we are with Williams this year, no?
No.

They don't have to do anything they don't want to do.

Committee doesn’t HAVE to do anything.
But I am figuring they will figure the Jeremiah addition into the equation IF Rutgers continues to have eye-opening victories like this..
In terms of simple win/loss equations, winning out at home, splitting the 4 road games, & getting to CBS Saturday in BTT..
While I am convinced that last years win in the first round of the BTT did not count for much, this year’s situation could be different, as Rutgers has 2 new key players
& getting on CBS will bring them to the forefront..
While as fans we can have these conversations at any time, the conversation can seriously begin if we win the next two..Northwestern is very pesky, took Purdue to OT on the road, & Minnesota has been a house of horrors lately..but win those, and we are playing with house money at Purdue..
— the BTT is on a neutral floor. I think we can beat any team in the league, except Illinois, who I see going to the Elite Eight

A Purdue win would have to be one of the best wins in the nation, no? Add on the fact we don’t have any truly bad losses (if you factor in score discrepancy yes) and we are playing our best basketball when it’s important, we may just get on the right side of bubble. Unlikely, but I’ll believe.

Did anybody catch what Pike said to the team in the lockerroom after today's game? He was responding to Fonseca, who tried to explain to Pike in his infinite wisdom how it's gonna be REALLY hard for this team to dance in March. Here's the footage:

Pike...

I read Fonseca's articles, but didn't catch the reference in Pike's interviews. was cursing at my iPad reading the Fonseca BS. . after the last 3 games, the NIT is not a goal, it is simply a fall back position.. While we need to win the next 2 to have any serious discussion, the equation I stated above - 4-0 home, 2-2 on road, CBS Sat BTT, should & I believe, will get us in..it would be a complete mirror image of the scenario last year. If all was fair, it should be. While still having the metrics last year, we were penalized for missing key player. we should be rewarded if metrics are borderline, but key addition of player making a team way better than its resume.. Still a lot of basketball to be played, But if Andy K. is warming up the Bus, that is the only opinion that matters at this point..
