Linden’s Tavon Jones to Odessa JC

Local product. There was some speculation why RU didn’t offer him. I’m assuming grades were an issue given the JC route.

It has been known for quite a while that Tavon would be going to a prep school or the Juco route. At least we know now that he will be going to Odessa.

Good luck to Tavon and he's a hard working player....my guess will be he'll resurface in a couple of years at a major or mid major program, with a 3 point jump shot added to his game.

Probably the greatest junior college player of all-time also went to Odessa. Larry Johnson of UNLV. A man among boys at every level of school.
