I don't know. I just don't agree with your explanation as Goodie has never done that before. Do you go to the matches? How many times have you seen people streaming out after a marquee matchup?

Except 141 didn’t even happen.. we shoulda had 33 as last match.. u said give props our team didn’t have Barbosa/Poz but didn’t mention in our 8-2 win, lockhaven didn’t have their 125/141 starters either.
Some dual meet will adjust starting weight class n keep best match last.. it’s true… problem is that 133 shoulda been the last match.. I guess Goodie didn’t know Henson wasn’t going to go(and y didn’t he?).
Section 8. Determining Wrestling Order — Dual Meets Art. 1. Protocol. Immediately after the weigh-in for a dual meet or multiple dual meets conducted on the same day, coaches may mutually agree to determine the starting weight class for the matches If coaches cannot agree on the starting weight class, they will execute a coin toss. The winner of the coin toss will have the choice to select either the starting weight class or the odd/even matches.
My guess is they could not agree on the starting weight class (Goodale, 90% of the time wants to start at 125). I would bet Lock Haven won the toss and picked the starting weight. Maybe he wanted to see what the score was and would use Henson if they had a chance to win the dual.
I usually go to a couple a year and have seen people start heading to the doors when heavyweight starts, assuming the dual is locked up. Goodale typically wants to start at 125 but it’s not a mandate and it’s not entirely up to him anyway. The marquee match at 141 didn’t happen but it seems rather coincidental that the two best matchups on paper were slated at the end of the dual. I wouldn’t look too much into it.

How the hell do you expect Goodale to know who Lock Haven is sending out? He’s not a matchmaker. He sends his wrestler out. Lock Haven sends their guy out. It wasn’t Henson. How is that Goodales fault?

For your information I asked Poz at practice what weight he walked around with this summer and he said 230

If you want to see a real nosedive Program look at Columbia and how they didn't have 1 Wrestler make the 2nd day at Vegas Tournament and finished almost dead last. Last season Columbia had 4 wrestlers make 2nd day and finished middle of pack
I also think their FREE attendance has dropped from 37 fans to 18

Poz is dinged up...If they were thinking of switching weights Soldano would not have weighed in at 187 Friday night. He weighed that low so he can make 184 next weekend. And Poz would not have even weighed in Friday at 197. Poz would not be eligible to go 184 for 3 or 4 weeks. Can only lose 1.5% of body weight per week
Casale is not a better option? Jeesh, he came down from HWT and isn't better than Soldano up a weight?

It went south after there was a falling out with the Askrens and all of the top recruits in the state typically train at AWA. They haven't been landing any of those guys anymore and they are going out of state. Plus elite recruits such as Braxton Amos (#1 p4p in his class) went there and haven't developed/fell off the face the earth. Literally the elite/top guys in the state are listing/considering Wisconsin-La Crosse over Madison. It's ugly right now.
