It really does even out in the end. I do find it funny that these other fanbases are offended that we play physical D.

To be fair, most Minny fans in that thread are very complimentary of us. A lot of whining about the ref but which fans don't?
I know I whined about refs during the game. Some bad misses on their part.. in Minny's favor mostly.
One time I said.. here we are complaining about refs when opponent just cut it to 11... How great is that?
I found their whiny thread entertaining. The comment about RU having a very experienced team made me chuckle considering we started 4 sophomores.
Yes I think that is pretty much the way it works with most fan bases just about every game both sides think they were jobbed by the refs
I just think we tend to remember all the calls that go against us and conveniently forget the ones that go against the opposition. Its natural.
This is what I love... The RAC and our football stadium are louder and more intimidating when we are winning than most stadiums that are twice the size.
Only thing I do have to agree with though, the RAC is a dump. But it is our dump and they don't like it

Their first five is pretty good. No depth. I have come around to little Ricky. He's not so bad and think actually over achieving this year. Amused that B1G schools can't handle it that we are actually quite good.
When we first joined the conference and were constantly losing, league teams viewed us as an afterthought, and of course, as a sure and easy "W" to add to their records.
Now we've transitioned from an afterthought into a legitimate threat...and they don't like it. And worst of all, (for them), they know they can't do anything about it. We're physical, we consistently beat other teams up on defense, and we make their top scoring threats sweat blood for every point they get. ...And coming to play at the RAC has now become like taking an all expense paid trip to hell for the other team.
I'll tell 'ya, man, it's truly a beautiful thing. ...It really is.

For all its dumpyness... no place better to watch a game and can easily be fixed.
Think about it. We need to replace Yeboah and Carter next year. That's it. We have the potential to be better next season.
Exactly. Most fans can't be objective in evaluating the refs. 15 fouls on them to 12 on us. Yes there were some bad calls/missed calls on us, but same for them, as the refs are human.
Checking the comments at the end of their game time thread, you will see quite a few saying losing to RU is not all that surprising. Many felt that we are really good.
One guy thinks that our team is really experienced with players around for awhile. Guess he missed the memo.

We really to start having blow-up airplanes instead of dinosaurs at the games and just chant "FLYOVER" for these loser ass states.
Officials kept them in the game for the first 9 minutes in the second half. Any other synopsis means you just weren’t paying attention. Oturu then woke up and this game became a Tums-fest.

Oh my god. The refs had a two minute stretch when Minny was down 14 where they kept them in the game. Just blatant missed out of bounds calls. A couple of missed fouls and a few travels not called against Minnesota. lol

anybody got a screen shot of Otoru hooking backwards and holding Miles while Miles he gets called for the foul? Which might have been Otoru's 4th but instead became Johnson's third (IIRC)? They want to complain?
Pretty sure they are talking about Caleb. He was the MVP of the game. Great D and even better hustle today.
